Getting started
How do I get access to my child’s classroom?
Your teacher sends a private Kiddoz invite to the email or phone number you shared with the school. Tap the link, create your password, and you’re in—no searching or codes required.
Can more than one caregiver join?
Absolutely. Teachers can invite additional caregivers at any time. Once added, each person gets their own secure login with the same access to classroom stories and galleries.
Do I need to download an app?
Kiddoz works beautifully on any browser, and you can add the mobile app for quick notifications and offline viewing. Install links are available right from your account dashboard.
Daily updates
How often will I see new posts?
That’s up to your classroom. Most teachers share highlights a few times a week, while Kiddoz automatically bundles everything into a weekly digest so you never miss a moment.
What types of content can teachers share?
Photo galleries, short notes, milestones, and even voice snippets. Everything is optimized to feel like a storybook recap of the day rather than a social feed.
Can I download or share the photos?
Yes—parents can download photos for personal use. Sharing outside Kiddoz is up to your center’s policy, so check in with your director before posting publicly.
Privacy & security
Who can see my child’s updates?
Only verified caregivers and staff that your school invites. Kiddoz is private by design—there are no public profiles, search pages, or third-party advertisers.
What happens if I lose my device?
You can sign in from another device and reset your password immediately. Kiddoz automatically signs out the lost device, keeping your child’s memories safe.
Is my personal data shared with anyone?
No. We use your information only to deliver school updates. Read more in our Privacy Policy and Security overview.
Notifications
How do Kiddoz notifications work?
You choose the cadence. Turn on push notifications for instant alerts, email for daily recaps, or rely on the weekly digest. Adjust preferences anytime from your profile settings.
Can I pause notifications during busy times?
Yes. Use “snooze” to pause alerts for a set period or switch to digest-only updates. You’ll still find every story waiting in your timeline when you’re ready.
Accounts & billing
Do parents pay for Kiddoz?
Nope. Access comes included with your school’s Kiddoz plan. If anyone ever asks you to pay, reach out to us at hello@kiddoz.io.
How do I update my contact details?
Head to your profile settings to change your email or phone number. The update takes effect instantly, and your invitation links always stay active.
Can I switch languages inside Kiddoz?
Yes. Choose your preferred language in settings, and Kiddoz remembers your selection across web and mobile. Teachers can still post in their preferred language.
